A Proven System for VCE Success
VCEnet brings together the techniques of top VCE performers to help over 12,000 students succeed at VCE. Now you can too...
March 11, 2010
From: Daniel Dobos, Founder, VCEnet
Your VCE is now in full swing. Are you making the most of this exciting year?
If you really want to enjoy this great year and get a better mark with less stress, then you've come to the right place. This guide will show you how.
But first...
So What Does VCE Success Involve?
What is the simplest way to succeed at VCE? It is to hear the truth straight
from top VCE performers - students who have actually been in your situation, done the very things that you are facing
and achieved outstanding success.
We can confidently say that from succeeding at VCE, we've found two things that you have to master:
- The specific content and study techniques to achieve a top mark
- How to manage your life so you can stay sane during VCE
Let's go through both points...
How to Achieve the ENTER You Want
Your ENTER is based in how well you do in your subjects. Often you'll find your mates approach this by
grinding through the textbook. But studying long hours is often not enough..
Wouldn't it be great if you were given a method to follow for each subject? For instance, when you write a folio piece for English, what is
the best way to do it? This article shows you how to write a brilliant folio piece - it gives you an idea of just how helpful VCEnet will be
to you.
To ace your subjects, here's what you've got to do:
- Understand the big picture... (So we have run-downs in each subject to ensure that you understand what is being examined)
- Be well prepared for SACs and Exams... (So we provide important answers to the type of questions you are tested on)
- Get subject tips... (We give you those little tips that made a big difference to the performance of top VCE students)
- Understand definitions... (So our glossary provides short and simple explanations to the terms you need to know)
This is all covered in-depth in our Super Study sections for fifteenYear 12 subjects:
Maths
- Maths Methods
- Specialist Maths
- Further Maths
|
Sciences
- Chemistry
- Psychology
- Biology
- Physics
|
Social Sciences
- Legal studies
- Accounting
- Business Management
- Economics
|
Humanities
- English
- Literature
- Visual Communication
- Music
|
What is the least painful way to learn this?
Unlike a dry textbook, you want someone to talk to you one-on-one. So we're going to go through everything in a conversational style. We'll get straight to the point without any gibbeldy-goo! We'll be light-hearted and even throw in a few jokes to tell your friends
How to make sure any advice is spot-on...
Your mates are great friends for tips, but they are not experts in their fields. Teachers are. That's why, all the (already excellent) content is still reviewed by expect teachers, selected by these professional teaching organisations:
- Victorian Association for the Teaching of English
- Science Teachers' Association of Victoria
- The Mathematical Association of Victoria
- Visual Communication Victoria
- Association of Music Educators
But that's not all... there's more to VCE than the mark...
